just bought theses and got them for a grand total of £139.99. DELIVERED.
i know what some of you are going to say, you carnt get these door cards in 5 door but ive spoke to the bloke and says hey still has the car they come out of and deffo a 5 door. how cool is that?

I saw a set of the leaf pattern half leather in scrappy today with the bolster tightner. Thought about getting them as they was mint condition.

They aren't 5 door seats..........
look they have the lever on the side to slide the seat forward............

unless the subframes have been swapped they won't fit! check the outer runners on the sub frames bolt to the floor and not the side of the sill
Also the door cards look like the lower spec grey velour stuff not alcantara as they are too dark!

Actually that's a point. They never did alacantara door cards did they? They can't possibily be gti cards as that's a rear door one.

No but if you follow the link to photobucket and look at the rest of the pics then you will see that they are there, oh no, you don't have to do that as someone has kindly quoted them :dance:
Oh and they didn't make those as 5 door seats so they can't really be anything else!
Just noticed that the rear door card (posted up there ^^) has a hole in for a manual winder, are the rear windows manual in the 5 door? never owned one so have no idea

Jim, thats because the photos mark posted are from the sellers photobucket account, which Kingy posted in the opening post
I think iv gotta agree with Mark though. Deffinately original 3dr seats, although if he deffo took them out of a 5dr I would say the runners have been swapped to 5dr runner, so that should be okay. The door cards however, certainly dont look like alcantara, GLX style velour me thinks.....

Only in pov spec cars and early meridians, all mine were leccy rears.

seriously make sure the runners are the right ones for a 5 door once you get them!

Save your money imo mate........I've bought seats before which ended up being useless to me.....and were also broken as I found after I sold them on! If I'd had the advice in this thread back then it would have been useful lol!
End of the day its up to you though.

right, fuckin well gutted about these. just emailed the bloke and told him im not having them and gave him the reasons. thanks to all above for spotting this and saving me alot of money and hassle. top fella's.

just make sure that both rails bolt to the floor on both front seats and they should fit fine TBH on the three door ones the outer runner bolts to the side, not sure if the catches for the rear seat are different possibly too but I may be wrong on that one!
as for the door cards, not sure as you would never get a set that match the seats so..........

sent a email now already so unless i do some serious botty licking i dont think i will get em. think im gonna save my money and just get a new drivers seat and then get all the interior steam cleaned.
