The 2.1 Sedan. scrapped - ozonehostile - 16-02-2013 So as some of you may have seen, I bought Dum-Dum's 2.1 sedan off him as a replacement for my sadly retired 405. spec as follows: 2.1TD Lump HDi Box 9mm Bosch with gov mod FMIC Boost gauge induction kit 16" slim fan Exhaust made from pug 605 front pipe, shortened 306 hdi mid section and standard back box with the hanger re welded about 2" further back ph3 front end conversion with crystals and smoothed bonnet ph3 repeaters HDi 266mm front brakes Citroen berlingo 16" steel wheels 10mm spacers front 15mm rear 205/50R16 tyres, mainly Michelins with good tread Meridian half leather interior (bar rear backrest) Sony headunit Vibe black air 6x9s in rear shelf 206 HDi gear knob ph3 bumper smoothed ph3 bonnet rallye blanks smoothed bonnet smoothed grill some further reading for those of you interested in the engine swap itself http://306oc.co.uk/forum/thread-8573.html and now for some pictures after its first well deserved clean, there was so much coal on the back it looked like it had been on fire haha il post some more pics 2moz for a bit of spot the difference RE: 2.1 Bianca sedan. under new management - karl1989 - 16-02-2013 needs the front end sorting. whats plans? RE: 2.1 Bianca sedan. under new management - ozonehostile - 16-02-2013 havnt really decided what to do with it yet, it needs to remain reasonably sensible as its my new daily but im sure it will inevitably end up with a stupidly rude turbo and god knows what else. its going to be somewhat of a gt spec car since im using it every day, so nice interior mods, maybe phase 1 front end back on if the bonnet clears the 2.1 RE: 2.1 Bianca sedan. under new management - Tom - 16-02-2013 Thats a really nice buy bud! Dum put so much money into it you must of got a bargain RE: 2.1 Bianca sedan. under new management - KrisB - 16-02-2013 You should just drop everything from this into a 405 That way you can have the nice interior mods lol. I've arranged for the 405 to be collected on monday, quite sad about it really haha if I do end up with another 405 in the future I think an t16 estate would be a cool project RE: 2.1 Bianca sedan. under new management - Andy - 17-02-2013 Good luck finding a T16 mate. About as rare now as Samass not getting his knob out at a meet. RE: 2.1 Bianca sedan. under new management - samass - 17-02-2013 (17-02-2013, 09:29 AM)Andy Wrote: Good luck finding a T16 mate. Looking forward to seeing what you do with it... Please put it back to phase 1! RE: 2.1 Bianca sedan. under new management - ozonehostile - 17-02-2013 took a bit longer stripping the 405 than i thought today so not much got done on the sedan, however i do now have a rather tasty set of seats waiting to go in RE: 2.1 Bianca sedan. under new management - Dum-Dum - 18-02-2013 Like! RE: 2.1 Bianca sedan. under new management - ozonehostile - 18-02-2013 only a safety update, was a bit concerned that the battery wasn't held down onto the tray by anything other than gravity, so quickly knocked up a bracket. held down properly now, not going anywhere also fitted the wind deflectors before: after: (obviously it was bolted down after this picture) RE: 2.1 Bianca sedan. under new management - Dum-Dum - 19-02-2013 Bugger, bolt must of disapeared out of the old bracket then lol RE: 2.1 Bianca sedan. under new management - ozonehostile - 20-02-2013 changed the fuel filter today, my god what a difference it made! so much more responsive, right little monster now RE: 2.1 Bianca sedan. under new management - Piggy - 21-02-2013 placebo! RE: 2.1 Bianca sedan. under new management - ozonehostile - 21-02-2013 it actually is a bit sharper, the old filter was grim. running veg in -2 soon thickens it up. running on straight diesel now seeing as its so cold and thats going to have helped using a higher octane fuel without so much water in as veg RE: 2.1 Bianca sedan. under new management - Piggy - 21-02-2013 ah....yeah I have same issue...straight veg for last 3months...putting in a filter little more often!! think may have to shove some diesel in soon to give it a proper blast Re: 2.1 Bianca sedan. under new management - Eskiiboi - 21-02-2013 I look forward to seeing this around!
