| As a way of protecting our members from scams when it comes to buying and selling parts, we have imposed a 100 post and 30 days limit on all new members. Until you have 100 posts and have been signed up for 30 days, you will not be able to post in the for sale sections or use the PM system.
We find that generally, posting a thread introducing you're self in the Newbie section and becoming a part of the community gets you to the 100 post limit in no time but it also gives the staff an opportunity to get an idea of if you're here to make the most of the community or if your just here to try and shift some dodgy parts or take members money without sending items.
Thankfully, this doesn't happen often but the more we can stop, the better!
If you try to bump up you're first 100 posts with spam, the moderator team will pick up on this and delete it. We are an easy going community but one thing we don't like is spam or people trying to get around the few rules we do have. Persistent offenders will be warned and if continued, will be banned from using the forum.
Remember, its there to help protect you!
When you reach the 100 post and 30 day limit, it can take up to 30 minutes for the forum to automatically change you're account permissions so please bear with it. |
