Ph3 NAD to XUD
#1
Thought I would just start this just now as I have the car now. So, last night I purchased a mercury gray ph3 meridian, it's a nad with a snapped cam. Motd until July and tax till the end of the month. Got it as is for £100.

Plans are to put the xud from my ph1 in to it, that will happen in the next few weeks and then it will be general tidying it up. That's it for now.

Should be an interesting little project for you, my ph2 XUD is gradually turning all out ph3. And i don't care that people think it's wrong, i like the ph3's shapes. Tongue

I like ph3, but don't like the hdi, prefer xud. This is my 4th 306 but first ph3. This doesn't need much, the engine swap, a really good clean inside, passenger window fixed and a wing mirror.

Trying to get a list together of things I need to get/ use. What gearbox should I use? The ph1 speedo and things are cable driven, so would I be best to use the nad box? Will it fit the xud?
So far on my list is...
Clutch- need to get.
Timing and aux belts- need to get.
Oil & filters-need to get.
Coolant-got.
Anyone think of anything else I'll need to use or get?

use the XUD box but with the nad speedo drive and sensors.

I had to use phase2 turbo diesel clocks in my ph3 to make them work.

brown coolant sensor plug also needed for the fans if the nad doesnt have one.
