Not too sure what they look like, I'll have a look in a sec.

Cheers mate, nah not yet, been busy with other things and in all honesty haven't done enough research yet to know how to do it!

Update time Big Grin

Was about to write a lovely piece about how much I love my car and how reliable it has been, but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

Had a bit of a nightmare today. To start with, got my wing mirror destroyed by a truck and it put a small dent in the door Sad

Then driving home from work, car went all juddery all of a sudden and something felt chronically bad. Turns out, one of the caliper bolts felt like going on holiday and I now have a lovely mark all the way round my wheel.

Lightened alloy ftw I guess.

Also, gov modded the pump with Jonny the other night, which is an epic mod. Don't know it has taken us so long to get it done!

I'm also wanting to get my intake sorted and I'm struggling to figure how is best to do it. Anyone with a TD04 got advice? I'm wanting to bring the pipe round the back of the block and go into a enclosed box above the gearbox, just like the standard HDi set up, but bigger. But, I don't think there's enough room to get straight up to 3" off the turbo, so is a 57mm 180 degree the best and then bump it up to 3" along the back?

That wheel reminds me of Europe and my brake pad haha!

I have exactly the same problem with the air intake, a 57mm pipe at the back of the block gets squished under the master and puts holes in the pipe (for me anyway)

Have a look in my d turbo project thread to see how I did my intake. Its not a TD04 turbo but I imagine it would be similar. Let me know if you want any help/info

Update time:

Most exciting update is I've refurbished my wheels. Gone for orange and they looks pretty damn smart, well I'm bound to say that lol

It's properly dirty from Knockhill, so I'll give it a proper clean and get much better photos during the week.

Had a go with trying to sort out my intake with Jonny the other day and that didn't quite work out. Battled for a while to get it to fit properly without the bend getting squashed and it's not touching the master cylinder, so it should be all good once its sorted. Other issues was the pipe i got from the reducer to the bend was marginally too big, so we'll come back to that at the weekend. Anyway, once it's all sorted I want it to look like this:

I've got some 20mm spacers for the back, just need to buy a tyre and then that will be sorted.

Got a front mount intercooler on the way as well, so need buy all the pipe and bends for that. FFS!!!

So was all looking good, but picked a chronic boost leak at knockhill. My D seal is split, so instant gasketed that didn't work and the pipe from the turbo to the top mount had a slit in the protection part on the top, so may have split the pipe as well, but couldn't tell. Hoping it's one of those. Pellowe noticed some soot down the back, so I'm really REALLY hoping I haven't blown the gasket.

I've got some sat downstairs. I ordered the wrong wheel bolts though, but I've got some special washers now. So once I've got my replacement tyre, that will get sorted Smile

It can be all yours for £100,000,000 MWAHAHAHAHAAHA

Well had a bit of a disappointment with my spacers, the people who sent me them for some reason only gave me one bolt that is the correct length. So I'll give them a call tomorrow so see what has happened.

Thankfully, my lack of boost appears to be a split pipe. Will get a replacement one this weekend and hopefully all will be fine again Smile

Gave the car a clean tonight, so you can now have a much better idea of how the wheels look!

Got the spacers fitted. Looks spot on on the passenger side, but has highlighted how ridiculously offset the beam is when you look at the other side!

Exciting news!

Had a pretty full on day getting a front mount set up sorted. Jonny was absolute hero (once again Smile)

Got a number of jobs that still need sorting, but I'll get all those sorted tomorrow morning. Including an epic bumper, unfortunately mine doesn't fit properly, so we had a spare blaze one which has been "modified." I'm very VERY reluctant to hack into the current one!

It was a hdi air box yeah. Fairly easy, I had to chop the battery tray a bit and a bracket would need making up, so could be done. Never got that fully sorted and now that there's intercooler pipes going through, it didn't quite work out.
