Update:
So yesterday Myself and Niall set about dropping the new engine in. This was abruptly stopped, as the ECU set I had for the engine, had a PH3 BSI, and mine was a PH2, meaning different plugs, so that plan had to be stopped
We then took the power steering unions to Pirtek, to have a pipe made up, for the EPAS setup. The chap at Pirtek braised the wrong end of the pipe on, meaning that didn't fit. So no power steering for me.
So we tried to get the AUX belt back on, but without a P/S pump as a pulley, this proved impossible to route and tension, so I now have nothing charging my batteries.
All in all, a shit day
So to spend today trying to rectify the above, and get a working car again. f*cking thing
