Pas Question
#1
Anyone know why the pas return fluid runs around the front of the car, then just U-turns and goes back....Huh

I'm guessing something to do with cooling the fluid?

Should be absolutely fine running it bypassed.

Only time you're likely to possibly run into issues is if you're doing something like an extended autoslalom on a hot summers day where you'll possibly end up boiling the fluid and losing assistance, but certainly it'll be fine for road and light trackday use.

Whilst it's admittedly a lighter car and thus less demanding on the PAS, I've run without the cooling loop on all my 205's when I've had PAS as the cooling loop sits underneath the passenger floorpan on those and hence is prone for getting damaged or rusting away.

I'm not so sure.... After a long stint on a motorway at xxx I boiled my fluid.
