Ok so no more messing around with the wheels I havev2 sets I like and that's the end for now haha , I've been working on a new 3 bar smoothed grill so il take u all throughout the stages etc
[Image: null_zpsad17cf20.jpg]
Bought a grill off a friend without the badge etc
[Image: null_zpsd430bda0.jpg]
Fibre glassed it up , was a massive pain haha
[Image: null_zpsf80ccc4f.jpg]
After a few days on and off , filtering it about 10 times I got it to a point I was happy with
[Image: null_zpsc685677b.jpg]
Gave it a thin primer coat , then tweaked it slightly then gave it a full few coats etc
[Image: null_zps2d583d9f.jpg]
Coloured

Lacquered and I'm just waiting for it to dry .

Those 406 wheels in 15s actually quite suit it but in my head diablo and a 205 gti just doesn't work.

Saw this at pugfest; pains me to say it but not convinced by it.

Nonetheless, a unique car and very tidy!

Yep. Stick the standard one on, spray the car black. Put it on speed lines. And you will have a f*cking nice car on your hands

Minus the body kit , neon lights and scoops on bonnet and roof , and vinyl down both side ....
But yeah fair enough

Agree with the above again I'm afraid. Has real potential, but it doesn't need all the mods, it's a classic and should be kept that way IMO.

That said, it's your car, so as long as you're happy, it's all good Smile

Not really many more mods now just tidying it up , and everyone os entitled to an opinion but its been very well received elsewhere but different people different view etc , so no worries

Well you didn't say you'd finished lol! :p

Nah in all seriousness it's good to see something different, tbf it looks miles better with the speedlies imo. Tbh I can't bring myself to like the starfish alloys on anything, even the 406s they came from lol.

Ok so project tidy up is under way and after picking up a brand new auto bonnet , I decided to make a start on it today .
Decided to make it look as pro as I can and actually painted the back of it like so
[Image: null_zps6922719d.jpg]
Then made a start of the front gave it a light sand down and a clean
[Image: null_zpsfbd74b83.jpg]
And then gave it a nice coat of primer , which I've flatted and re-coated due to a few edges going through etc
[Image: null_zps8e33495a.jpg]

Il update when I get round to finishing it in a few days time
