Just to chip in my old 306 back in the day had the exhaust fall off before a track evening. So I welded just a bit of flexi pipe for the night out the side. 103db measured at sneterdon. So a full exhaust on it should be fine.

Xud9 lol. Mega loud. It was literally a 2 meter 3inch pipe welded directly to the flange that attaches to the turbo.

youll be fine with 100DB. Bearing in mind the 1.8 had a decat, and straight through centre pipe it was fine!

It's not quite finished (this round of tinkering anyway, it'll never be finished!) and has been on axle stands for about two months. I wasn't planning to go to FCS, just Pugfest but as my mate is driving there in his Clio 182 I decided I might as well tag along!
Are either of you going to Pugfest as well?

hmm.
A free app came up with 98Db at half meter away. I tried it at 2500rpm and 3000rpm. And that was highest reading. Not that its mega accurate but it makes me nervous. Just have to ensure the vanes are shut...because with them open its LOUD!

They are not accurate by a LONG shot. I use calibrated Db meters at work quite a bit and have compared them to phones in the past. Vast difference

at the mid afternoon of Saturday show the tickets will be counted
