Partner/Berlingo P Bush - Jenkosowls - 22-08-2013 Bought some revised p bushes for a partner berlingo oddly enough for my berlingo van. These were a revised version for later heavier payload vans and a much much better design I opted for a cheap set but seem to be genuine versions. These are the ones I bought http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/PEUGEOT-PARTNER-FRONT-WISHBONE-BUSH-00-05-/330439783888 You can get some more expensive version at £30 each! Easy to fit actually no real problems The only issue I had is these ones the little m8 bolt that holds it down against the m10 securing bolt. Is actually an m10 on these there are m10x1.25 but I couldn't find any so tapped it out to m10x1.5 Going to see how they fair as an alternative to the standard p bush but also see how they fair being a cheap set to! So far so good but my tracking is out so will see after! Any way pics! RE: Partner/Berlingo P Bush - Jimbo - 22-08-2013 So would these fit 306 arms? They look to be the same arms RE: Partner/Berlingo P Bush - Piggy - 22-08-2013 yes they would fit. a great option, especially at that price. never seen them that cheap before, a great find. as said, need to go up to an m10 buts thats it! I assume they were press on? RE: Partner/Berlingo P Bush - Niall - 22-08-2013 Jimbo, assuming the pins from the wishbones are the same size, yes they will fit RE: Partner/Berlingo P Bush - Piggy - 22-08-2013 others I believe have already been doing this for a while but with the expensive versions...so this is a good find. I wont be fitting crappy putty P bushes to mates 306s ever again! RE: Partner/Berlingo P Bush - Jenkosowls - 22-08-2013 All front suspension components are the same as a 306. Few people have Been doing this over on the 6 forum but you rarely hear about it as its pretty much fit and forget! Certainly a fair cheaper than the poly bush version. Saying that I know of a certain some one who can get a poly bus to fit.... Piggy bit of moly slip and these can be tapped on with a good tight fit RE: Partner/Berlingo P Bush - Dum-Dum - 22-08-2013 Great find mate RE: Partner/Berlingo P Bush - Jimbo - 22-08-2013 Does the hole in subframe accept an m10 bolt or does it need drilling out RE: Partner/Berlingo P Bush - Jenkosowls - 22-08-2013 Accepts it fine Partner/Berlingo P Bush - devils_fuel - 22-08-2013 I will need to do mine again..only just about lasted 12months!! Everything fits with a big enough hammer! RE: Partner/Berlingo P Bush - Ricky - 22-08-2013 I have these, got them direct from pug, got the different thread bolts to. Still haven't fitted them though, bought them months ago! Just allot of peopłe don't appear to know about them dispite being a cheap upgrade for the same cost as ordinary p bushes. As piggy said they used to be quite expensive which would have put people off RE: Partner/Berlingo P Bush - Ricky - 23-08-2013 (23-08-2013, 12:25 AM)Jenkosowls Wrote:(22-08-2013, 11:44 PM)Ricky Wrote: I have these, got them direct from pug, got the different thread bolts to. RE: Partner/Berlingo P Bush - Piggy - 31-08-2013 just buy these mate. the standard ones are similar price from pug and are rubbish Partner/Berlingo P Bush - devils_fuel - 31-08-2013 Bought a pair last night..fingers crossed they last longer than 12months lol Partner/Berlingo P Bush - devils_fuel - 03-09-2013 Bought a pair of these and 2 pairs have arrived..so a free pair for me being uber cool !!! RE: Partner/Berlingo P Bush - tigerstyle - 05-09-2013 Is there a guide here for fitting these? I recall there being one but can't find it. Failing that is this http://www.306gti6.com/forum/showthread.php?id=22963 pretty much all you need? Might fit mine at the same time as my new front shocks seeing as the droplinks will be of and everything will be a little easier hopefully. |
