HDI questions - puglove - 22-04-2013

bare with me guys as i litraly no naff all about HDIs and keep checking back as i will keep adding as i think of questions.

1* where do i plumb the boost guage in? a pic maybe?

2* what should a hdi be boosting?

You tap the boost gauge into the inlet manny elbow and i believe standard boost is ~14psi

Both correct! Best practise to take the inlet mani of before you drill it - not meaning to teach you how to suck eggs tho!

Might aswell put a plate over the egr at the same time, unplug the egr then get it mapped out.

my boost tap and recently added plate
and yes std is 14psi or 1 bar
