Bad idea.

Anything putting you off a Zed?

Jap interior, under-powered, over-weight, ugly...?

Boxsters are nice, but you'll pay porsche tax on maintenance.

I've borrowed my dad's boxster a few times. Very good fun to drive, but wouldn't want to own one

Freelander 2.2 and remap the fucker,

Ginge is there something we don't know about you? You want a interesting car but have highlighted a Mini and boxxer?

For your budget, you could get a car that looks fast and shouty but doesn't have the oomph to go with the looks. Alternatively, you could get a car that has the oomph but is understated. I know what I'd rather have...

They go bloody well as standard and are so nice to drive.

So , after much deliberation and discussions with many people, decision is made and final.

On the lookout for the right motor and should be along soon!

RE: Which car dilemma ... - 1616six - 31-12-2016

What you decided on?

RE: Which car dilemma ... - tim 306td - 31-12-2016

Would you have a 407 coupe? Look like a lot of car for the money

I was seriously considering buying one until I bought a van instead. So much car for the money but not what I need at the moment lol.

They waft along pretty nicely but not exactly an exciting car or amazingly quick. I'd definitely have one if I was doing a lot of mileage though

RE: Which car dilemma ... - tim 306td - 31-12-2016

I fancy a 2.7 v6 hdi but are they all auto? Should go well mapped up

RE: Which car dilemma ... - welshpug - 31-12-2016

no manual fwd boxes that can take the torque.

RE: Which car dilemma ... - ozonehostile - 01-01-2017

Same box used on alot of lexus models iirc? The few I test drove where great as an auto, it makes sense for the car too, completely effortless crusing

RE: Which car dilemma ... - ginge191 - 01-01-2017

Seen a motor which is cat d - flood damage. But covered 1000 miles since... unsure whether to go for it
